14’s Water Polo Team Success at Chester

The 14’s water polo team paid a vist to City Baths, Chester on Monday 9th July and came away with a fantastic win.

The first quarter  saw Tyldesley the the lead 2 – 3.  In the second quarter Tyldesly scored 6 goals and kept Chester at bay not letting them score.  Third quarter Tyldesley scored 3 more goals with Chester scoring 2 – this gave Tyldesley the lead  12 – 4.  The last quarter of the match Tyldesley scored a further 7 goals to finish the match winning 20- 8 (match sheet shows 19 goals so I am not sure where the other goal came from).

The top goalscorers for Tyldesley were James Blenkinship and Rio Holdbrook both scoring 5 goals followed closing by Holly Toone and Eva Howarth with 4 goals, teammate Isobel Robb scored 2 goals.
