Senior Men Win against Radcliffe

The Senior Men’s Water Polo Team were playing against Radcliffe at Castle Leisure Centre on 1st May, and they came away with a much deserved  12 – 13 win.

Tyldesley could only field 9 players for this match and 3 of them were juniors.

The team were 4 – 2 down after the first quarter but then Matthew Roberts (junior player) scored the first goal in the second quarter with the quarter then finishing with Tyldesley 7 – 6 down. 

The 3rd quarter saw Tyldesley score 4 goals (usually this is our worst quarter) to take the lead 9 – 10 and in the last quarter Seb Jones took one square on the nose for the team to prevent an equalizer. 

At 12 – 12 Lucas McNulty scored a screamer of a backhand shot from 6 metres to make the winning goal and to take the match  12 – 13.

Top goal scorer for Tyldesley was Addison Brown with 5 goals.
